Sorry, to reproduce this, you need, in .config/kwinrc: [Compositing] HiddenPreviews=4 Also, you might need to somewhat rapidly swap around opening the status and notifications window and changing to other desktops. I'm not even sure why I had that setting in kwinrc to begin with, so I'm going to lower this priority a lot. Cannot reproduce with that line in my kwinrc file. A lot has changed since this bug was filed. Is it still reproducible for you in Plasma 5.25 (the latest LTS version) or 5.25 (the latest version, period)?
