I would really like to use the GrowingSOM package.  I managed to include the kohonen-package but I am noob handycapped.

could you please explain what you need from RKWard, specifically? if i understand you correctly, you are merely having trouble installing a package that was archived on CRAN. should that be the case, then i'm afraid this is beyond the scope of our project; you should try some general R support forum or mailing list.

please give more details if i got you wrong.
