Description Matthieu Pupat 2018-01-19 09:19:15 UTC
When importing files into Digikam there is no more an option to skip duplicates. This is a regression.

Which "duplicate option" exactly ?

When importing files from memory card, there use to be a window popping up if the file already existed asking if we wanted to rename, skip or replace.
Now it automatically renames without asking. I found out I have many duplicates because of this.

You can change these behaviors in the camera setup and also skip images there automatically. We wanted to achieve that the import of images also works in the background without constantly confirming a dialog. Many users seem to want that. We will probably implement it again optionally...
