For instance, I have my desktops setup 3 x 3. 
When going down from Desktop 5 to Desktop 8 - the cube effect rapidly shifts 3 times, indicating that it is flipping one time for each desktop that is traversed. This is pretty discombobulating when in a workflow, and should be limited to one flip no matter what desktop you travel to. I believe this used to be the case in previous versions, I'm not sure why it has resurfaced.

Actually now that I think about it - moving down a desktop is gone - the cube used to flip down automatically.

Nevermind - you had just to go in the options for Desktop Cube Animation and check 'Use Pager Layout For Animation'
