Description Chris 2018-01-16 09:43:10 UTC
To reproduce add a Movie to your project and then:
- Clip jobs > Stabilize (vidstab)
- Add so created .mlt to the timeline
- Apply speed effect (f.ex. 200%)

What happens?
The clip on the timeline is broken. Its rectangle has minimal width and do not allow proper handling.

My enviroment:
Kdenlive-17.12.0d-x86_64.AppImage
with melt 6.0.0 and ffplay version 2.8.11-0ubuntu0.16.04.1
on Linux Mint (Cinnamon)

This bug is most likly solved, all the timeline code was rewritten to avoid exactly this kind of issue.

Feel free to reopen this bug or create a new report if this is still happening with the latest version (https://kdenlive.org/en/download/)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add clips to project, cut and change them
2. Add new clip composition (timeline selection) to library
3. Open another project, insert library samples (mlt files)
4. Apply speed change on sample, check quality (preview+render)
5. Recognize audio-video mismatch
Comment 3 Dominik Kummer 2021-04-02 17:48:06 UTC
The bug is fixed in kdenlive 21.03.80
Comment 4 Dominik Kummer 2021-04-02 18:14:18 UTC
I was wrong in my previous conclusion, sorry.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add multiple clips to project, cut and arrange them
2. Add new this composition of clips (timeline selection) to library
3. Open another project, insert library samples (mlt files)
4. Cut sample in half, apply speed change on cut sample
5. check quality (preview+render), confirm audio-video mismatch

I followed your steps with Kdenlive version 22.08.1 -> No audio-video mismatch. Please check with latest Kdenlive version.
