Would it be possible to get a backtrace with symbols? (i.e. please install -dbgsym package) Ok, I tried to install the dbgsym-packages and noticed that there was a version mismatch. Somehow, plasma-discover did not update correctly but apt told me that everything is up to date. I don't know why this happened. I removed all the plasma-discover packages and reinstalled them again. Now it starts without crashing. Hello, I just ran into the same issue with the same solution. Is the plasma-discover upgrade path broken somehow? I've been upgrading my packages pretty blindly when they become available. Cheers. Moving to neon, another person told me something similar. Same here. I didn't realize of the version mismatch. Thanks Thank you for the crash report.
