Hey, this is indeed currently not supported. And I agree with you that this is a nice feature. I have now more free time - So I can do some digiKam development again. I will try to implement the feature for 5.9. There already are some topics in the similarity subsystem that need to be covered. Is there any updates on this? I'm not sure what's the logic digiKam uses to decide which image / album should be considered the reference one, but it seems there is no way to control that. Maybe this can be done via "Restrict to Only Selected Tab / One of / Both / Album but not Tags / Tags but not Albums"? Unfortunately it seems there is no details documentation about that drop down list, so I would honestly not know how this have an effect on the selection of reference images. *** Bug 459178 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
