I thought about it but this isn't really the scope for this extension. If a website implements the media sessions API this will work. I noticed that SoundCloud actually uses it but only registers callbacks for play/pause and seeking but not changing tracks for some reason Closing this as "remind later" as this might become obsolete once websites start using media sessions API. I have seen Soundcloud use it already (albeit without the ability to change tracks) as well as Forbes |
