App icon and name in header: I think it is nice to have the app icon in the header, but IMHO It was even nicer before when we had the app icon really huge on the main page. This is probably a better location for a huge icon than the browse/search lists, even. Maybe we could keep the icon in the header but re-add it to the left of the info? App caption looks out of place: Yeah, I kind of agree. I wasn't sure what else to do with it, though. Blue text: Making it blue was misleading; everywhere else, a blue color indicates that the text is a link. We could make it blue again only if we make the text a link to that category. Blue text: +1 for make it a link to the category. Than you don't have to remove the blue and the color is usefull too. Created attachment 109759 [details]
another header layout
mix between old and new as the Description "Header" has the same size than the application name header it fit's quite good.
I don't like the left-aligned "Clementine" in the header because being right next to the back button, it seems like clicking on the back button will take you *back* to Clementine, which isn't accurate. ok than center align (best would be left align to the information blog on top. We already reworked this page for 5.12. |
