I have a setup consisting of a 4k laptop and a 4k external display with kde form git and kwin wayland

for the laptop panel the scale factor is set correctly to 2x for the external display unfortunately the scale factor is set to 1x. 
If one sets it to 2x by hand seems to work but does not survive a logout.
