What's the name of that network? What's the output from "nmcli -f all device show wifi_device_name"? The name of the network is Freibeuter! Output is for one month at https://paste.kde.org/pzposexuc/oo9mvu Would be better to attach the output here in a text file. Or share with me the password to that paste. I sent you a mail Was the connection "Freibeuter" visible in the applet at the time when you posted the output? Can you please also include output from https://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Solid/Plasma-nm#My_connection_in_the_applet_shows_wrong_information? Freibeuter was visible in the applet, yes. I sent you the output via Mail again. Please, always attach the outputs here, I don't really want to read them in the email separately. I need the debug output from restarted plasmashell after you enable plasma-nm debug messages. It's described in the link above. Created attachment 109647 [details]

BTW: The Network Freibeuter! has the Connectionname "Dominik Main"
Ok, then it explain everything. From the nmcli output you sent me you can see that "Dominik main" connection is marked as available, which means that NM thinks you can connect to it and thuse we show it in the applet. This is unfortunately not a problem in plasma-nm, but in NM (in case the connection is not available) and you should report your problem to NM directly. Where do I exactly report it to? I found https://cgit.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/, but no bug reporting there.
