Secondary issues: A way around the inability to use a saved Custom effect with a group as a Bin effect would be to set up the required effects on a single clip, then Copy that bin clip and Paste Effects to another Bin clip. But there is apparently no facility to copy and paste Bin effects whatsoever. I've also noticed a minor, probably unrelated issue: Right click on a Custom Effect containing a Group and choosing Delete effect does nothing. Custom Effects consisting of groups cannot be deleted from the kdenlive GUI. They can be deleted by the rm command on the relevant Custom Effect file in the filesystem. Clarification--it is possible to copy Bin effects between Bin clips, by dragging an effect from the Bin effects panel onto a clip in the Project Bin panel. But again, because effects cannot be grouped, this has to be done one effect at a time. I can still find no way to simply copy all bin effects from one clip to another, which is my main purpose here--set up one set of bin effects for a given camera and apply it to all the files from that camera. I change it to Refactoring Version. And change it to wishlist. link to the task: https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdenlive/issues/4 We close this bug as we track it in Gitlab under https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdenlive/issues/4 for re-implementation. |
