I feel there is an unnecessary extra step to extract using right click menu. It is best if the user clicks "Extract" and 1 click extracts with the default, which is "Extract folder here".

Current behavior does not extract on click, it opens a submenu with 3 more options.

Just a faster approach to extracting.

No extra clicks are necessary, just a little bit of mouse movement to navigate to "Extract archive here." Right-click menus are already advanced functionality for most users.

Don't know that I agree. But your reasoning makes sense, except it is not as fast.

If we want a one-click extract, we would have to add another item at the top level of the menu.

So instead of having this:

> Some menu item
> Some other menu Item
> Etc
> Extract > Extract here
> Extract to...
> Extract here, autodetect subdirectory

We would have this:

> Some menu item
> Some other menu Item
> Etc
> Extract here
> Extract to > Extract to other location...
> Extract here, autodetect subdirectory

It would make the top-level menu have an additional item.

One click extract is probably what I am suggesting. I think it's quicker.
