Can't change which font is used or which size is used. The tool properties allow for changing the font and size. But the text gets un-selected each time the tool properties are selected. When the properties are changed and the text is re-selected, all changes revert back to the original startup font and size. Unable to select font prior to starting text tool.

Using Ubuntu Gnome 17.10

1 piece of additional information. The text property tools do not change back to their startup settings until the 1st character is inputted into the text box. But they always change back to their startup settings as soon as that 1st character is typed.

Yes... We're working on a completely new text tool for a good reason: the old one, based on the Calligra Words engine just never worked in an intuitive way.
