Description Murz 2017-12-12 18:47:47 UTC
Spectacle KDE app is very good alternative to discontinued HotShots app for making screenshots. But Spectacle miss quick way to create screenshot via mouse (without hotkeys).

Will be good to have tray icon or plasmoid widget that do screenshots via double click, and have menu with items to save snapshot, upload to imgurl, etc

fwiw, spectacle can already use kipi-plugins, which includes export options (ie,imgur, flickr)

As Rex mentioned, we already have the second part of your request. I would say that you can also already get a mouse-only method of opening spectacle: pin it to your task manager! That's essentially the exact same thing as having an always-visible System Tray icon.

Yes, thanks, pinned Spectacle icon have right-click menu with all capture actions.
