What's the use case, out of curiosity? It's just a question of organizing work. Use case is: I would like to be able to group all windows/programs related to a determined work in one (named) group on the taskbar, avoiding the use of Virtual Desktops or activities and keeping it clean. I understand there are other ways to accomplish this, but i find this more "intuitive" and easy to work with. I was about to say, "well, you could just use Virtual Desktops or Activities", but then you said:

...Which to me is an adequate justification, because people conceptualize abstract things differently. :)
