Background image can not be changed - plasma crashes.
intel graphics card, Kubuntu 17.10 (latest updates to current date).
There is another KDE session on X server opened on another tty, this happens on wayland one (not sure if that can affect wayland).

Concurrent login to two sessions under the same user is not supported.

sorry I did not mention it in previous comment, but session on X org is opened for different user.

I tried with X org session instead of wayland (same setup as previously - another X Org session for another user was opened) and it worked.
