Please add a disable button to the system settings if you want to collect the data using kactivitymanagerd. Recent opened files, videos, images in task bar context menu is a big NO NO for my privacy. I must stop this service manually from command line

You can mark an activity as private / incognito in activity settings.

Hmm, didn't know that. Asked this on KDE forum and someone proposed to report for this functionality
