Kdenlive 17.08.3 install from AppImage on Linux Mint Cinnamon.

1. Start Kdenlive
2. Open View menu and add Waveform Monitor.

Waveform Monitor has full-frame response

3. Press Right-arrow key several times until WM "dances" (see video). All 'scopes exhibit strange behavior as well. Video Rendering appears unaffected.

If I boot this same PC with Knoppix 8.1 on a flash-drive which has Kdenlive 17.08.0 pre-installed the Waveform Monitor and scopes all work perfectly.

Tested. Should be fixed.

Dev cannot backport to 18.12 and older versions anymore as 60% of the code has changed.

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.04.2d to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/

If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging.

KDEnlive 19.04.2d AppImage does not display the aberrant behavior. I have been using the AppImage on KDE Neon 18.04 for over a year and it works great.

Thank you for the feedback.

It seems it works. We close this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number.
