Description wisotzky 2017-11-23 10:19:16 UTC
Disabling live preview via settings->configure kile->kile->live preview-> uncheck "enable live preview" does not disable it on newly opened documents although the corresponding area is greyed out.
Pressing the pdflatex button then compiles the document twice for the live preview and twice for actually pressing it.
For large documents this costs unnecessary time.

To completely disable live preview you have first to enable it, disable it on new documents and then disable it again.

The expected behaviour for "disable live preview" would be it to be completely disabled.
