This is for the KDE in Kubuntu 17.10.

I have the folder view set to display the Desktop folder.

If I right-click on an Icon and select "Properties" or "Delete" then a window starts up (with the info or asking for confirmation).
HOWEVER, this window starts minimized!
That is unless I *already* have such a window open already (even a minimized one), in which case it opens onto the desktop (i.e. it's visible).

I have no solution. This still happens for me.  [Kubuntu 18.10]

I haven never been able to reproduce this. Is it still happening for you in Plasma 5.17 or the 518 beta?

Well, in Mageia 7 with Plasma 5.15.4 the problem doesn't exist anymore. It existed in Mageia 6 (don't remember the Plasma version there). Thanks!

Similarly no longer an issue in Kubuntu 19.10 (plasma 5.16.5)
