Currently, if I go to a https secured site, I can click on the lock in the address bar and view the text 'your connection to this site is secured'. The security information that appears when you click 'more' also just displays similar text. It would be nice to be able to view details like certificate issuer, person to whom certificate was issued, date until which certificate is valid etc. like in other browsers.

Agree that this is sorely needed. In the course of my IT work I sometimes run through the SSL certificate renewal/CSR/certificate install for clients and while I do like and use Falkon a lot, I always have to open some other browser in order to confirm the certificate being presented by the site.

There is no detailed information exposed by QtWebEngine API, so unfortunately it is not currently possible.
