Gpu's are the future for graphic based applications and should be targeted instead of cpu's. 
The cpu and the gpu are both important but the burden and workload should not only carried out by the cpu alone. 

Brushes, transformations and filters would get a great boost, improving stability and the overall performance -helping us to work faster, not to forget. 

Everytime I open Krita your application makes me feel to be in the future, because of its overall conception. But the GPU seems not really used - as the cpu graphs and noise show :(

Sorry, but this is not suitable for a bug report or a wish list item.It's not like we haven't discussed this amongst the developers for years -- we don't need a bug report reminding us about the topic. Bug reports and wish items should be about specific bugs or specific features.
