in 5.7.0 the editor defaults to 'plain text' again (for my settings at least). I can, however, still reproduce this behaviour: * open new E-Mail (editor opens in 'plain text' mode) * add recipient and subject (optional) * place cursor in editor (before the signature) * switch to 'rich text' mode using the toolbar * switch back to 'plain text' mode by pressing the toolbar button again. The cursor is now placed behind the signature. Thank you for reporting this issue in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version?
