Hi !

When creating a new application shortcut in the KDE Menu Editor, a desktop file is naturally created in ~/.local/share/applications

However, removing a menu item (in kmenuedit) that was manually created doesn't remove it from the aforementioned directory.

Even though the application item doesn't appear anymore in the KDE Menu, it can still be searched when typing its name in the K Menu.

--> shouldn't a desktop file that was manually created through KMenuEdit and stored in ~/.local/share/applications be deleted when its related menu item is removed ?

Obviously, the menus are not cluttered but the file can still be searched and found is confusing.

Cheers !
