I'm switching all the time between English and German layout. Did you properly enable it in the config module? yes, that was indeed the problem. The German layout was not properly enabled in config module. Now it works. But somehow this worked in the X11-session before without keyboard layout config. That was the reason why I suspected the wayland session. Thank you for the hint! It might be that KWin doesn't pick up the default layout correctly or that the default layout is not configured correctly in Kubuntu. The general idea is that if there is no config, the system default is used. |
