Hmm, after a complete system reboot, the old icon eventually vanished. So the consequences of this bug are clearly temporary. Before rebooting, the good icon would be show in the apps menu & dolphin, but the bad icon in folder view. Disconnecting didn't make a difference but rebooting apparently did, for some reason ! Cannot reproduce in Plasma 5.17 or the 5.18 beta. Can you? Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
