This bug was also happening on Arch Linux running qt 5.9.x. Update to qt 5.10 solved the problem. This bug is back on my Arch Linux after update to plasma 5.12 beta. It works on my kubuntu 17.10 VM using wayland - it is using qt5.9.1 plasma 5.10.5 seems a regressin in recent konsole/qt. can not reproduce on 18.04 Kubuntu VM; Qt 5.9.3 and latest KDE/konsole still not working on Arch Linux, konsole 17.12.2, after update to qt 5.10.1. It appears I don't have a qt 5.10.x system - can anyone else confirm this? full screen mode also does not work in kate and gwenview, maybe because this qt bug https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-63748 problem solved on Arch Linux after I install this package https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/qt5-wayland-dev-backport-git/ mentioned here http://blog.qt.io/blog/2018/05/29/whats-new-in-qt-5-11-for-the-wayland-platform-plugin/ now full screen also works in kate and gwenview. Thanks, seems like this was a Qt issue. *** Bug 397339 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
