Sometimes the timeline video does not display and sometimes there is a still image of one of the clips in the project bin. When I try to play the video in the project monitor the video does not play but the audio does. The video in the clip monitor plays fine. This happens every time I start Kdenlive. As long as I do not close the application everything works and the timeline and source video's display properly. This issue is still present in 17.12.0 1) You close the bin view only. The bin still exists in the background it’s just hidden. What do you want perform with closing the bin? 2) Problem is known for all Kdenlive Windows versions. Root cause not found so far. Work around: hit space and the arrow key right. If Kdenlive seems blocked as you descript hit CTR+Space. Now the play heat starts from beginning and you can click with the mouse into the timeline to play from there. Ones Kdenlive crashes with clicking into the timeline please post the error message from the event viewer: windows+r -> eventvwr -> check the error messages with Kdenlive. This issue/problem was solved with version 20.08.0. We close this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number. |
