(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konsole
Version: KDE 2.2.2
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: gcc 2.95.4
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I use galeon (in fact I am using it as I write this). Its use of tabs for browser windows is very similar to konsole's use of session icons. They have implemented a couple of nice features with their tabs which would be good to have in konsole too. Ie.

a) You can rearrange the order of the tabs using the mouse.

b) You can kill a browser paqe by clicking on the coresponding tab.

These functionalities are currently
unimplementedand I don't see them anywhere in the wishlist section.

             Best regards Faheem Mitha.

This is possible in KDE 3 not with DnD but shortcuts or menu.

Sounds like duplicate to #37987.
An "X" to close would cause many closes by accident in my opinion.

Being able to drag them would be nice; but also having the option to move them
on a menu on the tab would be OK - but we get the totolbar menu instead.

(For those wondering its ctrl-chift-left or right to move the order).
