Basically the plugin that provides this functionality needs to be patches and re-compiled to work with Plasma 5, and then your distro needs to provide that working version, and then you need to install it, or they need to bundle it by default. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 375176 *** Actually, on a closer inspection, I see that you do actually have previews some of the time. Are you using a patched version of the plugin? If not, how are you getting previews? Created attachment 108342 [details] Screenshot Dolphin ODS Preview 1) I mark an ods file, open the F11 panel and it shows me the preview correctly. 2) I mark another file, the preview disappears of course and then I mark the ods file again and the preview is change to what you see in this screenshot.
