As of some point, the program Krita enables users to select outside of the image size. For some workflow, it is more beneficial to select what's inside on the canvas. For those users who would like to be able to select inside of the canvas only, please add options on the selection tools to autotrim selection layer to iamge size.

Or another idea, add a global option to do the selection autotrimming.
