Description Jean-Claude 2017-10-06 21:07:50 UTC
"Kstars cannot be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed": this is the message I get in macOS High Sierra when I try to open KStars
I verified that my Security & Privacy / Allow Apps downloaded from / Anywhere was checked.
What to do ?

Just try to open it again. That worked for me before.

Ooops, it seems that my comments didn't get through :
I redownload the dmg and install it.

I asked Robert about this Mac issue and this was his response:

I would instruct him to right click the app, and select open from the top of the menu. Then when the dialog opens up select open again.
Tell him this is a one time thing that adds the program you installed to a list so unless he installs it again or updates, he should be able to just double click after he does it
