I am a novice and not a programmer, just wanted to try kdevelop.
I installed it from arch linux repo.

When I launched kdevelop, it crashed and i can reproduce it everytime.

It can be that there is some library mismatch or may be the QT version in arch linux. I am just making a guess. please let me know if this helps. or if you need amy more details

This was mostly due to arch update, I cleaned the system and it started working, sorry for the false alarm. closing this bug report
