If you open https://web.whatsapp.com/ in your Browser, 
and chat a bit with another user, 
you'll found, that the clipper is filled up with many trash ... means each 2 chars are written in web.whatsapp.com are appear as new entry in clipper.

That means the browser is copying the text. That's not a fault of klipper but of the browser or the website in question. Klipper is completely ignorant to where data comes from and why. It just sees new clipboard content and puts that in the list.
