*** Bug 101811 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Following the discussion under bug101811, I agree that the existing keybindings would be appropriate for navigation from the keyboard while in the full message window, i.e. spacebar page down spacebar next message if at bottom of current message up arrow scroll up in current message down arrow scroll down in current message right arrow next message left arrow previous message The only odd thing about this is, would you ever need to scroll left/right within a message? Say a large graphic or something? How would you do that if left/right aren't for scrolling? Also I would like to see a keystroke for "next unread message" and "previous unread message". Maybe shift-arrow? The other combination I had suggested was . (period) next , (comma) previous > (i.e. shift - .) next unread < (i.e. shift - ,) previous unread see other discussion in bug101811. Thanks! Keypad + and - navigate next/last unread in the regular message list, so that's a natural set to use. One question is _what_ should be navigated; the original reporter of #101811 suggested that the _thread_ should be navigated -- or perhaps the folder the message was in when it was opened. I'm not sure how this should interact with changing folders. moving messages around, etc. (Wishlist item confirmed in accordance to joke in 101811). |
