I am trying to manipulate the Tags of a file which is selected in Dolphin. I have double-click to open enabled, so the file I have selected with a single-click should be persistant and remain in focus in the info pane.

However, when I move the mouse from the file I have selected over to the pane to change tags, moving over top of other icons selects them and changes the focus in the info pane.

I expect hover-select to be disabled when I have double-click enabled. Single click selects a file, and that file should be reflected at all times by the info pane.

I *think* this is by design, but you may have a point that it's not necessary when using double-click mode.

Hmm. I think you're right.

I'm playing around more and since the info panel reverts back to represent the selection the mouseovers aren't as intrusive as I initially thought. I'd like to disable them, but since that's a minor wish and not a bug I'll close this ticket.
