The trash icon in system tray tells me "to empty" (= "Leeren") the trash. But there's nothing which could be removed - the trash bin is "empty" = "leer". Obviously a translation mistake. I suppose it's in 'plasma_applet_org.kde.plasma.trash.po', lines 66/67, but have no idea how to check it.

A 'context' could help to differentiate between the verb and the adjective. Can translation teams add/change the context, or is this something the programmer needs to do?

A context has to be added in the code using i18nc calls, see https://api.kde.org/frameworks/ki18n/html/prg_guide.html#good_ctxt
