Sometimes I want to see sizes of items directly on my '/' partition. Mounted on '/' are others partitions that Filelight scans and includes them when a try to scan/view '/', even-though I only want files directly on '/'. (e.g. it includes the partition mounted at /home)

There could be options to restrict scans to same either the same drive only, or the same partition only.

There are times when someone might want to include files from these other partitions/drives and at other times not. So I think it should be on option as to rather or not to include them instead of picking one out.

Sometimes a mounted partition hides files that were where the partition got mounted at. Perhaps there can be an option to include/exclude these hidden by mount(s) files too.
(Hopefully in a way that isn't confusing, or cause people to delete the wrong file(s), maybe by a note during hoover that says something like "... file hidden by mounted partition(s), to show the file in the filesystem first unmount ___ ...")

this is the «scan across file systems boundaries» in the settings. as for the second suggestion, I don't think that's possible without reading the raw filesystem from disk, which is not in scope.
