Can you provide any more details? I am assuming you want to open files from your "trash-can" in kwrite. I am using kde-neon - fully updated as of Oct 4th, 2017, and in both kate and kwrite - I can open the trash from the file-open dialog; by clicking on the trashcan icon on the side of the file open dialog - or by entering "trash://" and hitting in the directory edit-box at the top of the dialog. Please ask for help in a forum of your distribution. |
