Video showing behavior when menu items are clicked

After the application has been running for a while (perhaps even after a system has gone into hibernation and come back on), clicking on most items does not show the menu. Not even keyboard shortcuts to open menu items work. I'll try to attach a video showing what I'm observing. Restarting the application restores the intended behavior (well, until it happens again after a day or two).

In the attached video, only the "Bookmarks" menu item responds but none of the others do.
