While looking into the progress of problems I've reported in past I noticed this bug report remains open. Since I've now moved, as has the project, to version 5.0.x, the reported problem is no longer an issue and thus should be closed. I believe there have been other issues related to SAMBA shares, and I also believe they were thought to be related to kio and possibly which version of SAMBA was being used - on both the file server and the client. Glad to see the problem is resolved, at least for you. |
Created attachment 107899 [details] Remote Protocol died unexpectedly I'm using KMyMoney version 4.8.0-33f62546 on A Windows 10 Pro device. KMyMoney reports it's compiled as i86-w64-mingw32-gcc. The file I wish to open is stored on a NAS running SAMBA. When I click on the Network Icon an error is returned "The process for the Remote Protocol died unexpectedly." Is there a way to correct this error?
