Digikam 5.7.0 / Ubuntu 17.04.
I have uploaded many a picture to my Flickr account. Wanted to upload some to my wife's account, which did not open a Flickr-page to assign permission, but my (!) endless All Activity page instead. Worst of all, I cannot upload to my own account any more, same problem. Digikam tries to get permission that it already has. but Flickr's  My Flickr Settings tell kipi-plugins.org has that permission and I assume it is for Digikam. Somehow Digikam seems to have lost that information while the Flickr api  may have changed.
I do have an old digikamrc file. Can I use that to tweak the current file?

In the browser log out of all accounts in Flickr, with the digiKam Flickr tool should not establish a connection. Now connect with digiKam Flickr tool again or click on change account.

I want to return the account management for Flickr in digiKam-5.8.0. The problem cannot always be avoided, if a user is already logged in to Flickr, this is also used.

Hello Maik,

You confuse me. I interpreted it as follows. In the browser I logged out of Flickr, and started the Flickr export tool. The only thing I got was a login screen, and after logging in, the Flickr All Acivity screen.

Right, after logging into the browser and confirming that the Flickr tool may have access, the user name appears automatically in the Flickr tool.

It does not work that way. Or, it does not turn out so. There comes no authorization screen. Just - I repeat - the All Activity screen. And, kipi-plugins.org is already authorized. But digiKam does not seem to know.

Your kipi plugins are also version 5.7.0? Click on Change Account in the Flickr tool. A browser window opens with either login or confirmation of access. Please try the AppImage from www.digikam.org.

I was using an appimage Gilles recommended in July. This one does the trick.

Hi Maik,
I retrieved my personal Flickr account, so that works fine. 

I tested to switch account to my wife's, And that seems to work too (as you probably expected).

Apparently at each switch of account, you have to grant authorization separately, and the browser opens the current or last Flickr account. DigiKam does not seem to keep a list of targeted accounts. Something for a future release?
