I am using a laptop with an external screen.
Usually, I turn off the laptop screen and only use the external one.

But I can't do this with wayland:
- Unchecking a screen in the system settings does nothing.
- Using the display key on my keyboard changes the layout, but the screens are always on.

I guess the option wasn't implemented yet.

I can turn off screens with KDE Plasma 5.12.
