Tested with Appimage Nightly build from 26.December 18: It extracts allways the original frame size.

We closed this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number.

I still see this with 18.12.3 on openSUSE Leap 15.0.

I can reproduce.. I have to turn off Proxy each time I export a frame to project, otherwise the quality much lower. This has been happening for the past few versions since 20.04, I am using 20.11.70, still same problem.

Also sometimes adding a clip results in a "P" for proxy showing when there is actually no proxy created or pending, and I have to uncheck proxy and re-check it to have it generated, perhaps you should try that before exporting to ensure the proxy is there?
Sometimes I'll even load a project with proxies that had been working and they don't get picked up when previewing, and I have to mass un-check and re-check proxy to get them to be used again.
