Backtrace
I am seeing this crash all the time on Mint 17. Krunner always crashes when I try to search. Here is my system information. To reproduce this, Right Click on the desktop; Run Command...; Enter any text in the search box; krunner crashes with a segmentation fault. System: Host: LinuxMain Kernel: 4.4.0-112-generic x86_64 (64 bit) Desktop: KDE Plasma 5.8.8 Distro: Linux Mint 18.1 Serena On my system I have worked around the crash by disabling some of the search plugins, to wit: Audio Control Audio Player PDF documents Flolder Power Video If any of those plugins is enabled, krunner crashes when I type anything into the search box. If I disable all of those plugins, krunner works. I do not know what the commonality is among those plugins. I see this problem only on my user account. Other user accounts do not have problems with krunner, which implies that this is caused by environmental issues. The crash dialog is no longer providing a backtrace when I crash krunner, so I cannot post that information.
