Hi Alistair, It's really a pleasure to see that you are still a skrooge user after so many years. I remember well the videos you produced on Skrooge. Concerning your issue, I see in you sceen capture that: 1- You are on a card account 2- You did the reconciliation with a link on the account TSB-000 This mode of reconciliation is mainly used for card with deferred debit. In this mode a new operation is create on the card account. This operation can explain why you don't have the expected balance. I think you shouldn't use this mode. You should undo the reconciliation and do the reconciliation with the linked account "blank". Reopen this incident if you are not satisfied by my answer. Regards. Prior validate
Hi Stephane. Thanks for getting back the problem is its inability to select blank account. I should have shown the menu in last but include it here. Is there a method to allow select blank account? If I select Visa as validate account it creates a circular reference and resubmits duplicate fields. Thanks kindly. Alistair. PS there are no builds for Ubuntu/Mint that I have been able to find. Attempts to build here have been no good. You can change the type of account to "bank". So, you won't have the combo box in reconciliation. There had to be a way and you just nailed it. Sorry but my brain is not working so well these days :-( I have tried to build the latest but there are too many dependencies. With rolling distro we can add repos. Kind regards, Alistair. |
Created attachment 107743 [details] Validate screens Hi Im an old user/contributor Skrooge. Unfortunately cant upgrade on my platform to latest Debian rolling distro, so this bug is for release 1.9.3 beta which ive been using for years with no problem. Now its starting to change account names on Dashboard eg from TSB to Account 1 and so on. When balance account it shows correct balance then when Validate it changes balance to erroneous amount. Please see attached image. Ive tried to install latest version but due to distro, have QT5 issues. Is there a method to repair database or any suggestions appreciated; fortunately I can roll back accounts, but I cant move forward until the balance issue is sorted; the balance showing should be $569.13 as shown prior to validate not the $386.65 which is showing after validate. Kind regards, Alistair George
