Hi,

For reproduce this bug, please follow these steps:

1. First, copy some path whatever (e.g. /home )
2. Open Dolphin
3. Open the find files tool in Dolphin (in whatever path) and search something e.g "test" (is important search something)
4. Don't close the find tab and open a new tab (ctrl+t)
5. The new tab is a duplicate of the first tab with find tool activated, ok, then in this second tab do click in "Quit searching" for close the find tool, clear text path, and try copy new path (step 1) and do "enter"
6. The unexpected result is that dolphin activate again the find tool with merge text e.g. "test/home"

Please tell me if some steps is not clear

Hmm, I cannot reproduce this behavior despite your detailed steps... Can you check if this issue does still exist for you with the newest version of Dolphin (18.04.2)? Thanks!
