Here's a couple of settings that feel missing on the fullscreen Application Dashboard:

- how many recent items to show
- custom categories (not sure if that's possible, actually; I tried adding a custom category to a .desktop file and it got filled into "Lost & Found")
- grid spacing: this is the most important one, as there are only a few characters available for the application names, and even the most basic ones get ellipsed (such as Telegram Desktop or LibreOffice Writer) [related to Bug 365936]
- icon sizes?

These seem reasonable for consideration

This does not depend from the dashboard; the recent files model is global and shows the same files on all launchers. I'm not sure if there's currently a way to configure that, but it should not be in the Dashboard.

This can be done through KMenuEdit

> - grid spacing: this is the most important one, as there are only a few characters available for the application names, and even the most basic ones get ellipsed (such as Telegram Desktop or LibreOffice Writer) [related to Bug 365936]

This should not be up to configuration. If the size is incorrect then it should just be changed. For what it's worth, I cannot reproduce the nomes of those application being ellipsed.

> - icon sizes?

Same as above; I think we should pick a good icon size and go with it, I don't see the value for customization there.
