Log from attempting to make strokes at different pressures

I use an old Wacom Bamboo CTH-460 model with the highest updated drivers that Wacom provides. The model is no longer supported and will no longer receive driver updates. The pen pressure works great in Photoshop, but I can't get it to work with Krita. My operating system is Windows 10 and I use an Asus 7265ngw laptop.

Well, no tablet events are arriving, which means it's quite logical that you don't get pressure effects. All that arrives are mouse events. If you start debugview before you start Krita, you will also capture the tablet driver initialization, and my guess is that you're either not having a wintab32.dll at all, or that loading it fails for some reason.

Photoshop probably doesn't use the wintab spec for reading tablet events but Windows ink. We're trying to implement that as well, so please try this experimental build to see whether that works. Start debugview, then start Krita and paste the log:
